Terms and Conditions
1. General
1.1. Theatre Tickets Direct act as a disclosed agent for a supplier, therefore
the contract governing the purchase of the Tickets will contain the terms and
conditions of the Supplier. You acknowledge that any order that we accept is to
be performed by a third party (i.e. a theatre company or restaurant) and that
we have no control over the performance and/or quality of such an event
therefore we accept no liability in respect of any such event.
1.2. Tickets for events listed on this site are supplied by official agents who
are members of STAR. STAR is a self-regulatory body operating within guidelines
supported by, amongst others, the Office of Fair Trading, the British Tourist
Authority, the London Tourist Board, Westminster Council and the Society of
London Theatre.
2. Tickets
2.1. All purchases made on this website
will appear on your statement as 'Theatre
Tickets Direct London'
2.2. All transactions made through our website show clearly the face value of
the ticket purchased and any additional booking fee, payment processing fee and
postage charges when applicable. All prices are inclusive of VAT.
Theatre Tickets Direct will not add any
additional fees to your purchase if you pay
via any of the card type supported. Please
be aware that full payment will be taken
from your card at the time of booking.
2.3. This website allows you to purchase tickets based on seating preferences.
The system will select the best possible seat selection in your preferred area
based on availability.
2.4. Upon acceptance of you booking we will book on your behalf the event at
the time and place requested. Whilst we will make every effort to provide the
particular booking requested we reserve the right to change that booking
providing the alternative booking is of equal or greater value to that
requested.
2.5. After your booking you will be sent an email with summary of your order.
Please print & retain a hard copy of the
transaction receipt that will be sent to you
via email.
Your booking is confirmed only after we send you a second, confirmation email
that your order has been processed.
2.6. Confirmation email is normally sent within 48 hours of your booking or at
least 24 hours before the show for advance orders. For bookings made on the day
of the performance or after 4pm a day before you will usually receive
confirmation email within 2 hours of your booking, giving you enough time for
box office collection before the show.
2.7. You will be responsible for any
loss, theft or damage to your tickets. In
the event your ticket is lost, stolen,
damaged or destroyed, please contact us on
+44 (0)20 8429 7456 or through email: helpdesk@theatreticketsdirect.co.uk so that
we can contact the supplier on your behalf and make suitable arrangements for
you to attend the event.
2.8. As a ticket agent we do not have any role in setting ticket prices or
determining seat locations. Always check the details on the ticket are correct
as mistakes cannot always be rectified. You have the right only to the seat
specified on your ticket and the supplier reserves the right to provide
alternative seats to those specified on your ticket.
2.9. All tickets sold on this website are
not subject to any import/export
restrictions.
3. Delivery
3.1. If it becomes impractical to post tickets due to the proximity of a
performance date or in circumstances beyond our control we reserve the right to
make the tickets available for collection at a theatre box office on the day of
the show half an hour before the starting time.
3.2. It is your responsibility to inform us of any change to your contact phone
number, address or email before and after receipt of tickets.
4. Admission
4.1. The supplier reserves the right to refuse admission to a venue if they
believe you can be a danger to the audience or yourself or can affect the
enjoyment or duration of the show (for example due to being under influence of
drugs or alcohol). The refund will not be given in such situation.
4.2. Resale of tickets purchased through this website is prohibited. Resold for
commercial gain ticket becomes voidable and the ticket holder may be refused
entry or ejected from the venue.
5. Events
5.1. Events and performances can be cancelled or postponed. Theatre Tickets
Direct will not be held responsible for that.
6. Refund Policy
6.1. Once the tickets are purchased they cannot be refunded or exchanged unless
the event is cancelled.
6.2. Refunds cannot be made for tickets uncollected or unused.
6.3. In case of a cancellation of an event you should be entitled to a full
refund of all the fees paid (less the postage fee if applicable) or exchange of
tickets for another date.
6.4. If Theatre Tickets Direct are unable to fulfil your order due to any of
the reasons listed below you are entitled to a full refund with all the booking
and handling fees paid:
• Theatre Tickets Direct did not receive the tickets for your order from a
supplier, and cannot arrange for the tickets to be collected or posted
• Theatre Tickets Direct dispatched the wrong order, i.e. wrong event/ wrong
type of tickets
• Theatre Tickets Direct did not post your tickets in time or did not arrange
for box office collection
• Any of the similar circumstances where Theatre Tickets Direct acted with
negligence or might have acted in breach of contract.
In all the above circumstances Theatre Tickets Direct will not be held further
responsible if the full refund was duly given.
7. Disclaimer
7.1. Theatre Tickets Direct exercise all reasonable endeavor to ensure the
accuracy of the information on these pages however, the information on the site
may be incorrect or out of date and may not constitute definitive or complete
information relating to an event or any other subject matter. Prices are
correct at the time of publishing and are subject to change without notice.
8. Unauthorised Use of the Website
8.1. The Website content and design is subject to copyright owned or licensed
by Theatre Tickets Direct. The website is solely for your own use. Any illegal
or unauthorized uses of the website, including attempts to sell access to or
use of the site will be investigated and appropriate legal action will be
taken.
