New play Private Lives has been recommended as an excellent piece of theatre by one critic who went to see it over the weekend.

The Daily Mail''s Quentin Letts said that the Vaudeville Theatre''s latest offering is fantastic, giving it the maximum five stars available.
He said that not only are Kim Cattrall and Matthew Mcfadyen "quicksilver slick" in the principal roles, but Lisa Dillon and Simon Paisley Day are also superb as their respective on-stage spouses.
"This is a gorgeous, glorious production, just bitchy enough to be modern yet old-fashioned enough to have a three-part form," Mr Letts commented.
Cattrall is required to ''fight'' with her co-star Mcfadyen onstage as part of their sparring in Private Lives and according to the Telegraph, she has been going about it with enthusiasm.
The newspaper reported last week that she had been sporting a sizeable bruise on her leg on opening night after colliding with a table.
