Love Never Dies will have a lasting impact upon the West End thanks to its music, storyline and dramatic atmosphere.

This is the opinion of Charles Spencer, writing for the Telegraph, who said that the follow-up to Phantom of the Opera is a fine musical.
Commenting that it dispelled his previous apprehension about how it could possibly match up to its predecessor, he said it is full of "superbly haunting melodies", with the music "a constant pleasure".
The critic also praises its dark imagery and seething passion, as well as the obvious chemistry between Sierra Boggess (Christine) and Ramin Karimloo (the Phantom).
"I suspect its creepy allure will linger potently in the memory when frothier shows have been long forgotten," concluded Mr Spencer, giving Love Never Dies four stars.
Earlier this week, the Independent''s Paul Taylor bestowed the maximum five stars upon the new musical, calling it "phabulous" thanks to its sumptuous, seamless production.
