The Ferryman Customer Feedback

2018-01-15 I felt that act One was a little self indulgent. But am hoping to read the text eventually, as we missed some of the phrases (in the back row of the Upper Circle). But the build to the climax was amazing. And it was a very good theatrical experience.
2018-01-15 Amazing performances with a totally unexpected ending
2018-01-14 good production vvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvv
2018-01-14 Really entertaining and gripping for the full duration. Manages to discuss a serious topic in a light manner.
2018-01-14 Outstanding! Jez butterworth is a hero!
2018-01-14 Gripping, funny, brilliantly acted and stage. Surprising at times and passed so quickly. The children and animals were also brilliant. Fun but serious and moving.
2018-01-14 Superb acting script story cast, really good seats, very happy, congrats to all involved, a brilliant theatre experience, thank you
2018-01-13 Brilliant play - full of tension and exploring many angles. Excellent acting too.
2018-01-13 Great production, amazing set. A very long play but didn’t loose me- fantastic!!! I enjoy a thought provoking play
2018-01-12 It was an incredible production on every level. A once-in-a-life-time sort of feeling.
2018-01-12 A rare insight into the casualties of the troubles in Ireland. Whereas we found the show thought provoking and moving it was unfortunate that the restaurant we booked before the show turned out to be not at all what we'd hoped for. Instead of being an enjoyable dining experience we found ourselves wishing we hadn't wasted the GBP80 on the sub standard meal.
2018-01-07 Absolutely brilliant and gripping
2018-01-07 Very dramatic, gripping and unpredictable. But a little long.
2018-01-07 Certainly The Ferryman was an amazing play to pull off technically as it included a large cast, children, smoking, drinking, a goose and a lovely baby. It was indeed a circus. I'm English so am not naturally supportive of the IRA who killed and maimed many people but it was interesting to see their homespun version of things. Is it true that if a man left the iIRA he would be in danger of his life? I felt uneasy about many of the adverse comments about the British which were prejudiced; especially Auntie Pat's vicious attack on Mrs Thatcher!! Shades of fundamentalism shone through for comparison with today's political problems with extreme Islam. I didn't really sympathise with any of the characters or even like them but surprisingly I was gripped and on the edge of my seat during the whole performance. I knew it was a special event and felt admiration for the energy of the actors.
2018-01-07 This is an outstanding piece of theatre. Enthralling, well constructed writing and incredibly well presented and performed. Deserves the many accolades it has received.
2018-01-07 The actors, the storyline both awesome
2018-01-07 Wonderfully written, directed, performed and staged. One of the best pieces of theatre we’ve seen.
2018-01-07 GREAT ACTING AND CASTING REALLY BROUGHT COLOURFUL PERSONALITIES TO LIFE. A CLASSIC TRAGEDY.
2018-01-06 I cannot think of or don't recall any aspect that wasn't absolutely excellent. A truely remarkable piece of work.
2018-01-05 Brilliant realism of the Troubles brought to light by superb acting and screen writing reflecting conflicts within families. I would go back and will be booking tickets for friends and family.
2018-01-05 This is the second time I have seen it and it was equally as good as the first time despite a totally different cast. It is funny, serious, uplifting and tragic - totally engaging for the whole of the 3+ hours. It is a great play brilliantly directed.
2018-01-04 Great acting, funny and poignant.
2018-01-04 Fantastic. Bravo..........
2018-01-04 Such a good play and acting
2018-01-03 Original. Well acted. Riverting.
