The Bush Theatre is based in Shepherd's Bush, in the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham. It was established in 1972 and has since become one of the most celebrated new writing theatres in the world.

Please see below a quick guide to specific seating areas of the theatre. Please note that this is a general guide and each theatre would not necessarily have all the areas described below:

Stalls or Orchestra Stalls: On level and closest to the stage. Stalls are generally the most expensive seats providing the best views of the stage. Stalls seats are slightly raised as they go back, although this might vary from theatre to theatre.

Royal Circle/Grand Circle/Dress Circle/1st floor: Each theatre names the1st floor or 1st Balcony differently, but we have tried to name the most common terms used in the West End. These are again very good seats and the prices are same like Stalls. Some people prefer to sit on this part of the theatre to get a sense of the bigger picture and to be able to appreciate the changing set, sceneries and stage effects better. We recommend this seating area for people going with Children and also if you are short in height.

Upper Circle/Grand Circle/2nd floor: Normally called the Upper Circle in most theatres, but some venues have named the Upper Circle as Grand Circle, so best to check on the seating plan of each venue to see exactly what they are called. These are cheaper seats than the Stalls or Royal Circle but still provide a clear view of the stage. Bargain hunters or people on a budget may book these as they are really good value for money.

Balcony/Top Floor: Balcony is the top floor of the theatre and the furthest away from the stage. Normally, the cheapest seats in the theatre, however, most balcony seats still provide a clear view albeit they are high up and a bit far from the stage. Enjoy the perfect West End experience without having to dig deep in your pocket!
