Book A Woman of No Importance Tickets playing at the Vaudeville Theatre London

The perfect family treat celebrating Oscar Wilde's ground-breaking work. Book now for your last chance to see A Woman of No Importance! Must end 30 December.

“Sublimely funny” (The Independent) and “compelling” (The Times), A Woman of No Importance is the first play in Classic Spring’s Oscar Wilde Season. Playing at London’s Vaudeville Theatre, Dominic Dromgoole’s “fine revival” (Guardian) echoes headlines today and shows how, more than a century on, Wilde still strikes to the heart of social scandal.

Starring the “brilliant” Eve Best (Daily Mail), “bewitching” Anne Reid (Observer) and “superb” Eleanor Bron (The Stage), you’ll love this compassionate and engaging revival. “The season is launched with a flourish” (The Sunday Times).

De Profundis, performed by Simon Callow, will run from 3-6 January, while Lady Windermere’s Fan starring Samantha Spiro, Kevin Bishop and Jennifer Saunders opens on 12 January. Book now for the best available seats!

2018-01-03 It held our attention for the whole performance. Anne Reid was brilliant and all the cast lived up to her high standard. The tickets were available at the Box office and had even been upgraded.
2017-12-19 Great acting: timing was excellent and lines delivered brilliantly. Loved the Victorian music hall feel of the songs. Theatre acoustics very good and seating very comfortable. It’s the first Oscar Wilde play we’ve seen and we’ll definitely be back for more!
2017-12-17 My wife and I really enjoyed the performance but, at times, it was quite difficult to hear what was being said. Actors spoke very softly or not always in our direction [they can't do the latter all the time, of course.]
2017-12-09 Excellent play which I have not seen before (despite being of very advanced years!) Acting generally fine but my only criticism is that it was not always easy to hear every word. We had good seats in the stalls but I would have had considerable problems had I been "upstairs" Lovely old theatre but the seats are not very comfy and the arms are difficult. It needs a bit of a makeover without ruining its fine old design and atmosphere. A thoroughly enjoyable evening nevertheless
2017-12-04 Very well acted particularly Anne Reid and Eve Best but had difficulty hearing at times as did my companion. so quality of sound not good.
2017-12-01 Very entertaining very well acted and beautiful set
2017-11-29 A bit slow/long for me but otherwise well acted!
2017-11-26 Really enjoyed. Excellent production.
2017-11-25 It was very good. I have recommended friends to go and watch it.
2017-11-21 Great production, thoroughly enjoyed it. Had some difficulty finding the vaudeville along the Strand at night as the word VAUDAVILLE is on an odd background of yellow light.
2017-11-20 great play still relevant to tiday
2017-11-20 Excellent cast in very enjoyable traditional production
2017-11-19 We loved the Vaudeville Theatre, the cast and, most of all, the play! Loved every minute.
2017-11-03 Wonderful production, brilliant acting. Thoroughly enjoyable evening.
2017-10-29 Excellent cast, production and performance.
2017-10-27 1st class show. Thoroughly enjoyed it.
2017-10-18 Pièce superbe , humour grinçant et mots d'auteur très "Wildiens" . Crtique sociale acerbe ; Acteurs admirables .
2017-10-15 Brilliant, amazing, great acting, a wonderful ensemble piece
2017-10-15 Wonderful Oscar Wilde play acted brilliantly
2017-10-13 Really enjoyed the show, only wish the audio was louder. Ann Reid’s singing was a hoot.
2017-10-13 Acting excellent. RIegretfully had to leave during the break. Seat AZ4 destroyed my back. I was in pain. Space is too tight
2017-10-08 Fabulously acted, brilliantly directed and a play for today.
