Adelphi Theatre is filled with the aroma of deliciousness because Waitress is satisfying the taste buds of the audience. The successful Broadway Musical Waitress is now running in West End and rejoicing the theatregoers.
This musical presents a portrait of the life of a small town Waitress Jenna Hunterson whose passion is baking and employed in a diner. The challenges of being stuck in a toxic relationship have been implied aptly in the show. Based on the 2007 indie Classic film by Adrienne Shelly and has a book written by Jessie Nelson, the creative team of this incredible show consists of famous singer-songwriter Sara Bareilles who has given the music and lyrics of the show, Diane Paulus is the director, Lorin Lattarro is the choreographer, set design is by Scott Pask, lightening design is by Ken Billington, Suttirat Anne Larlarb is the costume designer and many other brilliant professionals are involved to make this musical absolutely fascinating.
The music of the Waitress is as good as it could be, the musical uses a six-member orchestra consisting of keyboard, piano, cello, guitar, bass and drums. The soundtrack of the show consists of, "What's Inside", "Opening Up", "The Negative", "What Baking Can Do", "Club Knocked Up", "Pomatter Pie", "When He Sees Me", "It Only Takes a Taste", "You Will Still Be Mine" and many more delightful tracks.

This was my 3rd time seeing waitress and although the previous cast were fantastic seeing it this time with Sara Bereilles was absolutely amazing!!! This soundtrack is fantastic...

Access description: The main entrance has a ramp and automatic doors. Box Office counter to the right inside the entrance. No steps to Stalls from foyer. 41 steps up to the Dress Circle; 79 to the Upper Circle. Most staircases are highlighted and have handrails on both sides. Theatre opens 45 minutes before the performance.
Sound Amplification: Williams infra-red system with 10 headsets. Collect from Box Office.
Guide Dogs: Guide dogs are allowed into the auditorium and Front of House staff are happy to dog-sit (maximum 2).
Disabled Access: No steps to Stalls from foyer. 2 spaces for wheelchair users at the back - view slightly restricted. Transfer seating available to any stalls aisle seat. A maximum of 4 wheelchairs can be stored in the cloakroom. Provisions for 4 wheelchairs/scooter transferees per performance - please check when booking.
Toilets: Level access to women's toilets in the main entrance foyer and to both men's and women's in the Stalls. Men's and women's toilets available in the Dress Circle foyer area. Access to toilets in the Upper Circle involves a number of steps.
Disabled Toilets: Adapted toilet by the entrance to the Stalls.
