The Birmingham Royal Ballet presents Hobson's Choice appearing at London'Sadler's Wells for a strictly limited 3 performances.

Hobson's Choice is a choice which is not really a choice, a take-it-or-leave-it choice. In Edwardian Salford, there is a shoe shop owned by a drunkard but run by his three daughters. Fiesty Maggie is not well pleased with the way things are going. She is determined to set things right, find the perfect man and create a business of her own!

David Bintley's down to earth comedic ballet is based on the Harold Brighouse play of the same name and has been amusing audiences since its premiere at the Royal Opera House in 1989. The score is one that will see you humming as you leave the theatre. Composed by Paul Reade, the composer of the themes for The Antiques Roadshow and The Flumps, the score is influenced by music hall, opera and brass bands. Music will be played live by Royal Ballet Sinfonia.
