English National Ballet – Akram Khan’s Giselle tickets are expected to sell as fast as this reimagining earned itself a reputation as a modern masterpiece. This new take on a classic will take to the stage at Sadler’s Wells for a limited 10-day run!

Sadler’s Wells Associate Artist Akram Khan takes the classic archetypal romantic ballet and transforms it into a contemporary classic with his unique reimagining.

In Khan’s version, we see the innocent Giselle grasped from her village, where the action is moved to a garment factory where a community of migrant workers are at the mercy of the factory landlords. Academy Award-winning Tim Yip creates the set which within the ghostly victims come together to create a vengeful and breath-taking unit.

The familiar and pioneering score accompanies this spectacular work with a live performance from the English National Ballet Philharmonic. The score is an adaptation of Adolphe Adam’s original and put together for this reimagining by Vincenzo Lamagna.

You won’t want to miss this astoundingly beautiful ballet, so be sure to book now to secure your tickets for Akram Khan’s Giselle now. The reputable English National Ballet will be performing this modern classic for a 10-performance run at Sadler’s Wells, so you’ll want to act quick!
