More about Measure for Measure

RSC Artistic Director Gregory Doran directs this new production of Measure for Measure, a play written by Shakespeare in the early 1600s but whose story and themes feel even more urgent today.
When a novice nun is compromised by a corrupt official who offers to save her brother from execution in return for sex, she has no idea where to turn for help. When she threatens to expose him, he tells her that nobody would believe her.

Measure for Measure Customer Reviews

Although sitting only 5 rows from the front in the stalls it was sometimes difficult to hear what was being said. Could the actors not be provided with microphones.
