New Cast Joining the West End Musical &Juliet

Three new cast members will be joining the West End hit musical as of Monday, 26 September!

They are Joe Foster (Hex), who will portray May, Billy Nevers (Legally Blonde), who will play Francois and Nicolas Colicos (Sister Act) in the role of Lance.

The musical, featuring the songs of the acclaimed pop songwriter Max Martin, and nominated for a record-setting 13 WhatsOnStage Awards and 9 Olivier Awards (including Best New Musical), has been running at the Shaftesbury Theatre in London’s West End since 2019.

The song repertoire includes iconic hits of the last 30 years, such as Ariana Grande’s Break Free, Bon Jovi’s It’s my life, The Weeknd’s Can’t Feel My Face, and Britney Spears’ Baby One More Time.

& Juliet gathers an award-winning creative team: based on the book by writer and producer David West Read (Schitt's Creek), directed by Luke Sheppard (In the Heights), and featuring choreography by Jennifer Weber (KPOP), set design by Soutra Gilmour (Merrily We Roll Along), orchestration by Bill Sherman (Hamilton), and costume design by Paloma Young (Peter and the Starcatcher).

The cast is led by Miriam-Teak Lee (2020 Olivier Award for Best Actress) in the title role of Juliet, and includes Cassidy Janson (2020 Olivier Award for Best Supporting Actress) as Anne Hathaway, Oliver Tompsett as William Shakespeare, Tom Francis as Romeo, and Malinda Parris as Angelique, the Nurse.

Ebony Clarke, Bessy Ewa, Collette Guitart, Cassandra Lee, Zara MacIntosh, Carl Man, Christian Maynard, Rachel Moran, Owen Saward, Aaron Shales, Benjamin Terry, Suki Wong, Ivan De Freitas, Rhian Duncan, Alex Tranter, Sophie Usher, and Rhys Wilkinson are all members of the ensemble.

The performance is scheduled through September 2023 at the Shaftesbury Theatre and will have its Broadway debut later this autumn.
