A brand-new musical exploring the life and legacy of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart through the eyes of the women closest to him is coming to London. Saving Mozart will play at The Other Palace Theatre from 28 July to 30 August 2025.

Led by Aimie Atkinson (Pretty Woman, Six) as Mozart’s sister Nannerl, the cast also features Jack Chambers as Mozart himself, Erin Caldwell (Six) as his wife Constanze, Jordan Luke Gage (Titanique) as Salieri, and Douglas Hansell (Come From Away) as his father Leopold.

The musical, written and composed by Charli Eglington (Treason), had its premiere in Gmunden, Austria, where it was met with glowing reviews. In London, it will be directed by Markus Olzinger, with choreography by Taylor Walker and set design by Justin Williams.

The ensemble includes Sveva Bartolini, Harriette Benazir-White, Corey Mitchell, and Alfie Simmons, with more casting to be announced soon.

Produced by MCG Productions, Saving Mozart promises a fresh take on the legendary composer’s story, with a particular focus on the powerful and often-overlooked voices of the women in his life.

Tickets are expected to go on sale soon.
