Elf the Musical has announced the complete cast for its upcoming limited engagement at London’s Aldwych Theatre, running from 28 October 2025 to 3 January 2026. Fans can expect a festive and high-energy production following the closure of a major West End show.

The musical, based on the 2003 film starring Will Ferrell, tells the story of Buddy, a human raised by elves at the North Pole, who ventures to New York City to find his father.

The West End company features Rosanna Hyland as Emily Hobbs, Martyn Ellis as Santa/Mr Greenway, Lucinda Lawrence as Deb, and Dermot Canavan as the Store Manager. The ensemble includes Mollie Cleere, Farirayi Garaba, Sophie Pourret, Lucy Rice, Biancha Szynal, Kyle Cox, Zack Guest, Ryan Jupp, Dominic Lamb, and Danny Nattrass, with swings Sophie Camble, Amy Punter, Samuel John Humphreys, and Michael Tyler. The role of Michael Hobbs will be shared by Ayrton English, Max Garlick, Harry Georgiou, and Samuel Sturge.

Elf has previously enjoyed highly successful runs at the Dominion Theatre in 2022 and 2023, and made a record-breaking return to Broadway in 2024.

The production is directed by Philip Wm McKinley with choreography by Liam Steel. Tim Goodchild has created a new set and costumes for the Aldwych stage, while Patrick Woodroffe handles lighting, Gareth Owen oversees sound, and Ian William Galloway provides video design. Casting is by Grindrod Burton, with Temple Live Entertainment presenting the show.
