More Cast Confirmed For Into The Woods

The highly anticipated West End transfer of Into the Woods has revealed further casting for its upcoming season at the Noël Coward Theatre. Following a critically acclaimed run at the Bridge Theatre, the Olivier Award-winning revival of Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine’s beloved musical will begin performances in London’s West End on 22 September 2026, with an official opening night scheduled for 7 October.

Directed by Jordan Fein, Into the Woods was one of the biggest successes at this year’s Olivier Awards, receiving 11 nominations and winning Best Musical Revival and Best Lighting. The production has been praised for its imaginative staging, outstanding performances, and fresh interpretation of Sondheim’s timeless score.

Returning to the cast is Olivier Award nominee Kate Fleetwood, reprising her acclaimed role as the Witch. Joining her are several cast members from the original Bridge Theatre production, including Valda Aviks as Grandmother/Giant, Geoffrey Aymer as Cinderella’s Father, Jo Foster as Jack, Jennifer Hepburn as Cinderella’s Stepmother and Alternate Witch, Hana Ichijo as Lucinda, Julie Jupp as Jack’s Mother, Gabrielle Lewis-Dodson as Florinda, and Gracie McGonigal as Little Red Riding Hood. Jacob Fowler and Sophie Linder-Lee will also return as standbys.

The creative team behind the award-winning revival includes set and costume designer Tom Scutt, musical supervisor Mark Aspinall, orchestrator Jonathan Tunick, sound designer Adam Fisher, lighting designer Aideen Malone, video designer Roland Horvath, and movement director Jenny Ogilvie.

Presented in the West End by Jamie Wilson Productions, Kevin McCollum and New Ventures Entertainment, Into the Woods will play a limited season at the Noël Coward Theatre until 9 January 2027. Further casting announcements are expected in the coming months as excitement continues to build around one of the most celebrated musical revivals currently heading to the West End.
