Million Dollar Quartet Returns To The West End

Million Dollar Quartet is heading to London this autumn, bringing one of rock ’n’ roll’s most famous encounters to the stage. Following its successful run at the Barn Theatre, the hit jukebox musical begins performances at The Arts at Marble Arch on 4 September 2026. The strictly limited London season runs until 6 December 2026.

Based on an extraordinary true story, Million Dollar Quartet recreates the night Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, Carl Perkins and Elvis Presley gathered at Sun Records in Memphis. What began as an informal recording session became a legendary moment in music history, uniting four artists who would transform popular music.

Audiences can expect electrifying live performances of classic songs including “Blue Suede Shoes”, “Walk the Line”, “Hound Dog” and “Fever”. Blending drama, humour and rock ’n’ roll, the musical explores the personalities, ambitions and tensions behind the celebrated jam session.

West End performer Darren Day will return as Sun Records producer Sam Phillips, the man who recognised and developed the four musicians’ remarkable talent. Further Million Dollar Quartet London casting will be announced soon.

The Tony Award-nominated musical has a book by Colin Escott and Floyd Mutrux, with an original concept by Mutrux. Jonathan O’Boyle directs the Barn Theatre production, with choreography by Joanna Goodwin. The creative team also includes designer Libby Watson, lighting designer Alex Musgrave, sound designer Nick Lodge and musical supervisor Lee Freeman.
