Miss Saigon Tickets Now On Sale For West End Return

Miss Saigon tickets are now on sale for the musical’s highly anticipated return to London’s West End. The new production will begin performances at the Prince Edward Theatre on 13 May 2027 and is currently scheduled to run until 8 January 2028.

The strictly limited season will mark the first time Miss Saigon has been performed in the West End for more than a decade. The musical previously played at the Prince Edward Theatre between 2014 and 2016, following its original London production, which opened at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane in 1989.

Presented by Cameron Mackintosh in association with Michael Harrison, the latest production follows a major UK and Ireland tour. Full casting for the West End season has yet to be announced.

Created by Claude-Michel Schönberg and Alain Boublil, the writers behind Les Misérables, Miss Saigon is set during the final days of the Vietnam War. The story centres on Kim, a young Vietnamese woman who meets and falls in love with Chris, an American GI, while working in a Saigon bar controlled by the Engineer.

Kim and Chris are separated during the fall of Saigon, leaving Kim to begin a dangerous journey in the hope of being reunited with him. Chris returns to America without knowing that Kim has given birth to their son, setting the stage for a powerful story of love, survival and sacrifice.

The Miss Saigon musical includes some of the writing team’s best-known songs, including The Heat Is On In Saigon, The Movie In My Mind, Last Night Of The World and The American Dream. The production is also renowned for its large-scale staging and dramatic recreation of the evacuation of Saigon.

Performances will take place from Monday to Saturday at 7.30pm, with matinees on Wednesdays and Saturdays. The first Saturday matinee is scheduled for 29 May 2027, followed by the first Wednesday matinee on 2 June. The production has an approximate running time of two hours and 40 minutes, including an interval.

With Miss Saigon tickets now available and the musical returning for a limited West End season, early booking is recommended for audiences hoping to secure their preferred performance and seats at the Prince Edward Theatre.
