The Devil Wears Prada Announces New West End Cast

The Devil Wears Prada has announced its full cast for its third year at London’s Dominion Theatre. Jenna Bonner will take on the lead role of Andy Sachs alongside the previously announced Teri Hatcher as Miranda Priestly.

Bonner is already part of the production as first cover for Andy. She now steps into the role full time, playing the aspiring journalist who lands a job at Runway magazine under its formidable editor-in-chief, Miranda Priestly.

Another current cast member is changing roles. Dean Makowski-Clayton, who has played Irv Ravitz, will take over as Nate, Andy’s boyfriend. Matt Henry continues as Nigel, while Taila Halford remains in the role of Miranda’s first assistant, Emily. Dominic Andersen also continues as Christian.

Vanessa Williams gave her final performance as Miranda on 19 September 2026. Debbie Kurup is playing the role until Teri Hatcher takes over on 20 October 2026, after which Kurup will continue as first standby Miranda.

The casting brings both familiar faces and new pairings to the musical as it enters another year in the West End. Bonner’s move from first cover puts a performer already familiar with Andy’s role at the centre of the story, while Makowski-Clayton’s switch to Nate gives audiences a new pairing for Andy’s life away from the office.

Based on Lauren Weisberger’s novel and the film, The Devil Wears Prada follows Andy as she tries to build a journalism career while navigating the demands of her job at Runway. The musical features music by Elton John, lyrics by Shaina Taub and Mark Sonnenblick, and a book by Kate Wetherhead. It is directed and choreographed by Jerry Mitchell.
