'For one night only, a host of stars come together to celebrate the music of Jule Styne, Jerry Herman & Stephen Sondheim at The Palace Theatre.

Following a successful online concert in May this year during the height of lockdown, KINGS OF BROADWAY will be recreated live at the Palace Theatre on Wednesday 9th December at 7.30 PM.

Many of the concerts original stars return to recreate their performances from the online concert plus some new additions. The company will come together at the end of the evening for a special performance of ‘Sunday’ from Sunday In the Park With George.

Returning from the original concert are Michael Colbourne, Deborah Crowe, Jordan Lee Davies, Janie Dee, Elliott Griffiths, Damian Humbley, Emma Kingston, Nadim Naaman, Fiona O’Carroll, Jamie Parker, Ana Richardson, Jenna Russell, Lucy Schaufer, Caroline Sheen, Laura Tebbutt, Lee Thomas, Michael Xavier & Alex Young.

Joining the company are Tracie Bennett, Jason Carr, Danielle Fiamanya, Soophia Foroughi, Hadley Fraser, Siubhan Harrison, Harrison Knights, Bonnie Langford, Carl Man, Trevor Dion Nicholas, Sharan Phull, Zizi Strallen, Sally Ann Triplett, Kayi Ushe & Tosh Wanogho- Maud.

The concert will be accompanied by Alex Parker with a sound design by Paul Smith.

Access description: 2 steps up to the foyer, through a set of double swing doors. Box Office level access through first door on Shaftesbury Avenue. Box office with lowered counter for easy wheelchair access. All stairs have highlights and handrails on both sides. 3 steps down from the foyer to the Stalls, 30 steps up to the Dress Circle, 56 to the Upper Circle, 77 to the Balcony, which is very steep. Theatre open 45 mins before performance.

Sound Amplification: Andrews system with 20 headsets. Induction loop at box office.

Guide Dogs: Guide dogs allowed inside the auditorium, alternatively staff can dog-sit (maximum of 4 guide dogs per performance).

Disabled Access: No steps to the auditorium through a side EXIT on Shaftesbury Avenue. One 3cm step into the theatre and a slight incline to the Stalls which has 1 space for a wheelchair/scooter user and their companion at W27. Transfer seating available to any Stalls aisle seat (maximum of 4 wheelchairs and 1 scooter can be stored at back of Stalls).

Toilets: 10 steps down from the Stalls to women’s and men’s, and further women’s and men’s off the Dress Circle Bar and at Upper Circle and Balcony.

Disabled Toilets: Adapted toilet by wheelchair users’ entrance.

Limited Mobility: Large print cast lists, talking programmes and touch tours available on request
