Renowned for originating and reimagining roles, including her critically acclaimed, award-winning performance as Nancy in Oliver!, for which she received the Black British Theatre Award for Best Female Lead Actor in a Musical.

Her performances, from the West End stage to The Olivier Awards and The Royal Variety Performance, are praised for their emotional depth, vocal power, and commanding stage presence.

Her West End debut was in 2009 with Thriller - Live. Other stage credits include The Bodyguard (Adelphi), Jesus Christ Superstar (Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre) and Rent (The Other Palace and UK tour).
