More about Raising Gays: A Concert Reading

In the small Somerset town of Little Malden, a group of parents meet in a support group of parents and guardians of queer children. When they find themselves unexpectedly organising a parents’ float for the town’s first ever Pride parade.

With confronting their own beliefs, biases and fears, the stakes could not be higher. There’s no manual on raising queer kids yet there’s a hundred different ways to mess it all up. Brimming with humour and heart - and completely gorgeous tunes.

This is a new musical for those parents frantically googling pronouns, Pride flags and where to find purple hair dye in a well-meaning - but often misjudged - endeavour to support their children.
